About USA Wildcats
ABOUT USA WILDCATS
The USA Wildcats, established in 1997 as a senior team that practiced
out of a gymnastic school in Watertown, CT. In 1999 a Junior team
was added but as this sport was growing so was the USA Wildcats.
We moved into our own Waterbury facility in 2003 where we had
almost 100 athletes. In 2008 the USA Wildcats expanded to 3
locations with 13 teams.
Our staff is whole-heartedly dedicated to making your experience an enjoyable and enriching one for both you and your child.
Since starting with one cheerleading team in May 1997, we have grown to include 13 cheerleading teams. We are looking to make this year our all-around best yet.
On behalf of the coaching staff and myself, I want you to know that we are dedicated to helping each cheerleader maximize their individual experience with the USA Wildcats. Over the years we have worked hard to create a close Wildcat family and even though we are a growing organization, we take the initiative to:
- Get to know each individual cheerleader;
- Help them set and achieve healthy, challenging goals;
- Teach the value of commitment and teamwork; and
- Produce results that are indicative of the level of commitment our
cheerleaders and coaches invest
USA Wildcats is a competitive, cutting edge program that has high expectations for all of our members. The coaching staff's mission is to offer the best technical training and most innovative choreography in the state of Connecticut. We teach kids to be exceptional cheerleaders, but most of all, we teach kids to be exceptional people. Focusing on teamwork, integrity and structured, safe workouts, USA Wildcats team members learn how to encourage one another while building self-confidence.

Here at USA Wildcats the emphasis is on attitude. As a member of our all-star program, our athletes are expected to carry themselves with a particular attitude on and off of the competitive floor. Being a cheerleader is not merely limited to performing well on the mat, more often than not it is being a positive representation in the public’s eye. Because of your athleticism and drive you are expected to always perform well in all aspects of your life. Being a relevant member of the Wildcats family is almost as significant as being a useful member of your family, a successful academic in school, and most significantly, being a competent, helpful member in society. Besides merely making each member of Wildcats EAST a better athlete, through the experience of competition the goal is to experience growth and maturity, so that each member learns important life lessons as they grow into adulthood. Teamwork, positive peer relationships, problem solving, and learning to be humble in victory as well as in defeat, are among the values seen throughout the development of a Wildcats cheerleader.
At USA Wildcats EAST we strive for customer satisfaction, but ultimately we know that decisions made based upon individuals are going to always affect the entire team, and ultimately the program. If there are any concerns over a child’s attendance or dedication to the team it is our responsibility to make sure the situation is dealt with in the best interest of the program while still paying homage to the financial investment of being a part of this great program. Our hope at USA Wildcats EAST is we can all work together to make our program one of the best in New England. We know that this process cannot occur simply with great coaching and choreography, but must be an effort of the entire gym. We encourage parent and athlete involvement in trying to make our program more relevant in the community. So while your athletes are achieving glory in this year’s awards ceremonies, I want to thank all of you cheerleaders behind the scenes for all of your support, because without you this vision would never be possible. Thanks again, for making the decision to be a part of the newest branch of the most recognized all-star gym in Connecticut, USA Wildcats.

The USA Wildcats is the first, largest and has proven to be the most successful All-Star Cheerleading Program in the state of Connecticut
The USA Wildcat All Star Teams are a fantastic way for your children to grow as athletes and have fun in the process.
Established in May, 1997- Our facility is opened to Competitive Cheer Teams and cheer clinics catering to athletes from ages 3-18. We offer teams and clinics for every age and ability level. If you are a beginner or have been cheerleading and tumbling for years, we have a team that is sure to challenge you.
Our coaching staff has combined over 150 years of experience in cheerleading, dance and gymnastics and would love to have a chance to work with your child.
